Unmitigated disasters 2

Not really but it follows on from previous thread.

I went to the Verdon Rec centre and spoke to the co-ordinator, who was annoyed that the woman employed by the centre to open, supervise and close the centre had let me down so royally. She let me off the rent (phew) and we agreed to give it four sessions to see if we can get it going and keep the oiky kids out unless they are going to pay and join in properly.

Thanks to everyone for the messages of support and the hugs both real and electronic. I'm starting to regain my sense of humour, which is partly down to having blogged about the catalogue of disasters yesterday, re-reading it and realising how funny it actually was.

By the way this is the face that kept peering through the doors at us last night. Really. It was just like this.

Anyway, I'm going in the bath now and off to bed, college tomorrow and I have fines to pay for my books, and I then have to go out tomorrow night and watch my gorgeous lovely son boxing and hopefully winning. I prefer it when he wins, he's in a better mood afterwards.

Arrrrrghghghghghghghghg

I think I may be having a bit of a bad day.

Please ignore any references that you may find miserable and complaining. I expect to have some work lined up by now, but nothing is happening. NHS Professionals are being positively obstructive, because their stupid online forms only give you 20 minutes to complete them, but they take at least 45 minutes to complete.

Whinge moan, complain, general grumbling and miserable noises. There that that out of my system.

Good news is I am actually getting on with the test pieces, and they are starting to look quite good. Going to go in the bath once my cotton on Farmville is ready to harvest and I can plant something new. More sewing in the meantime.

No photo today. Feeling grumpy. Sorry.

Long time no blog

I got a text from one of my best friends asking me about my blog and do you know I've no written in it for ages so I thought I'd write something while my bath is getting cold.

I'm still not speaking to many members of my family, but as no one has even phoned me asking to talk in a reasonable manner then I'm not making the first move. Stubborn? Yes definitely.

Work is still the same but I've now started a course at my local college, learning to design embroidered textiles. I'll have a qualification after the two year course is over and I've had so much fun in the past 10 weeks that I've had no time to do anything else.

My house is nearly finished, and I am finally in the attic in the most amazing space you could imagine, where I have room to work for hours at a stretch but don't feel that I have to make room for Josh, my son. He is happy as he now has access to the computer so he doesn't need to hassle me to get out of the way so he can chat to his friends and play games.

I still have to finish the house, just some plastering and installing a kitchen, then decorating, but I can take my time over all of that if I want and anyway....... I'm so engrossed by my coursework I can't think of anything else!

Must go now, need a bath before bed. Working tomorrow, but paid work in my not very boring job.

Tired

After taking Gaia to the vets then going shopping to ensure a steady supply of high calorie food for my ever growing 15 year old son, Josh, I was rsther tired, so Josh, the most wonderful son any mother could have, ran me a bubble bath and then took the photo of me with a big white affro. Oh and no I've not been drinking large amounts of alcohol. I'm working tomorrow and can't have more than one or I'm wrecked for the day.
